Summary: The Town of Egremont, is located in rural southwestern section of western Massachusetts. The town of Egremont who currently is under contract with the WCA Managed Service team was notified that their existing HP Server was going "End of Life" and several drives were showing failures that sometimes could be fixed with updated drivers/patches but would continue to become more problematic. The town decided to take WCA's suggestion to upgrade the Server before major problems or failures.
Challenges: The client needed a major upgrade of an "End of Life" Server and wanted to replace with current HPE hardware. They also needed a quick and seamless transition during the upgrade with minimal disruption to the daily workflow.
Solution: WCA performed an IT assessment and then provided a complete proposal for desired solution within the customers parameters.
Benefits: WCA's solution implemented at Town Of Egremont included the following details:
- Configure new Hardware at WCA
- Upgrade vSphere
- Deliver new Server to client location and install
- Migrate virtual Servers to new Hardware
- Update Backups
- Update WCA MS Documentation
- Project completed with minimal interruption
Project Results: The proposed Design was implemented succesfully.
