Remote Patch Management

Patch Management is a critical element in maintaining the health of your computer system and protecting your company's valuable data. New threats are introduced to your network on a daily basis. To protect your data, software manufacturers must regularly change their product in order to thwart these attacks. Monitoring all of the required adjustments and downloading the updated software changes to your computer system (patching) is a tedious, ongoing and time-consuming effort.

WCA can implement these patches remotely from our Data Center in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost that it would take your company to carry out itself. Most IT staffs do not have the dedicated time to perform these tasks which can result in endangerment to a computer network, causing it to become susceptible to hacker and spam infiltration. Even if you do have the time to devote to these tasks, you also need to have the knowledge and expertise to successfully determine which patches will be helpful and which ones are likely to cause more problems than they solve.

Patch Management is an important component of our Managed Services Program but can also be utilized by clients not enrolled in the Managed Services Program.
