Whalley Computer Associates employs two component level technicians. This is another service that you won’t find at any other computer reseller anywhere in the United States. Although this service was inspired by the needs of one of our largest customers, the availability of this service has been critical to some of our other customers.
The most recent beneficiary was a university that had 90 of 900 laptops fail because of a poor design that resulted in loss of AC power. Instead of replacing 90 motherboards at $799 each our component level technicians solved the problem at a cost of $40 per unit.
